| PATTI is an 8 year old spayed Golden Retriever mix. She is a shy, reserved girl whose fear of new people and situations sometimes gets the better of her. Once comfortable with those she trusts, Patti is a very loving companion, well-behaved in the home, housetrained, and loyal to a fault. Her love of food is intense, so the quickest way to Patti's heart is through treats and more treats. Her ideal home would be a child-free, quiet environment comprised of patient, experienced adults who have the time and inclination to help this diamond in the rough turn into the sweet, affectionate charmer some of us know her to be. Multiple easygoing dogs and cats OK. |
ANTHONY is a beautiful 7 year old long-haired neutered Shepherd. He has a very calm temperment and a special love of the outdoors. Anthony enjoys long walks, but has a touch of hip dysplasia, so stairs are not for him. He would be happiest in an adult home or a home with older children, but he would prefer no cats. |
JAMES is a neutered 5 year old Dalmatian. He is an lively, active dog who sometimes focuses his time and attention on the wrong thing (like carpet chewing), so he would need a home with folks who are willing to channel that energy and maybe even enroll him in obedience class. He loves people of all ages and other dogs, and walks well on leash. At 5, James is still relatively young, so he'd love a home where he can go for long walks or where he'd have a fenced in backyard to play. Multiple dogs OK, but no cats. |

| RED is a spayed adult female. She is a quiet girl who prefers to spend her time sunbathing and snacking. This big girl has been at the shelter for a while and is searching for a new home where she can lounge about on couches and snuggle in fluffy bedding. She gets along with other cats but would do best in a home with older children. |
MISS YONKERS came to us as a stray so we do not know her exact age, but we believe she is about 18 months old. She is already spayed and gets along well with other cats and children. She is an independent, outgoing and affectionate little lady with a mind of her own. She enjoys being pet but is not a fan of being held. We believe Miss Yonkers would do well in almost any family. |
PUDDY is about 8 years old. She is a spayed black and white short haired tuxedo. After living most of her life in a home, she was surrendered to the shelter because her owners couldn't afford medical care. She is in excellent condition now and searching for a new family that will love her. Her affectionate and gentle demeanor would make her extremely adaptable to new situations and just about any kind of home. |
